The selection of church organs to be a process that is fraught with many twists and turns referencing musical
tastes, organ use, funding, cost and a multitude of sometimes disparate agendas. It is our purpose to simplify
and streamline the initial process of investigation to intelligently consider options on a purchase of a new or
used electronic, pipe or combination instrument or a good quality practice instrument for the organist.
While retaining the basic concept of the classic pipe organ, the range of electronic products has diversified
over the last 10 years with many approaches, both technical and musical, being represented by a good
double handful of builders. This site presents a variety of models and technologies available to provide
organists and institutions with a variety of approaches to software, design and sound technologies.
C. Anthony Pessarra B.M., M.M. has been associated with organ purchases, rebuilds and upgrades
throughout the years as a career organist and church musician. He does not have an official affiliation or
allegiance to any organ company although he has friends throughout the industry. His purpose is to
assemble the basics and explain and demonstrate the core information that surround virtually all organs
including 100% pipe organs. This site is also available for free listings of organs for sale.
